Do you want to feel more emotional balance in your parenting?
Join us this summer for a four - class series focused on bringing mindful awareness into your life. In this class, we will explore how the practice of non-judgmental awareness, or mindfulness, impacts our presence in the world. Let us help you to establish some daily rhythms that calm your mind, inhabit your body, and experience deeper connection within interpersonal interactions. Each week, you will set realistic and attainable goals for your daily mindfulness practice, obtain guidance from the instructors about obstacles you may encounter, and build support and community through conversations and exercises with the other participants. The co-facilitators, Lucianne Hackbert, PhD and Senior Yoga Teacher Jenny Hayo, each bring a unique perspective to the course. Jenny has a grounded and joyful presence as a teacher at 8 Limbs Yoga Studios. When Jenny teaches meditation, the teachings of mindfulness become accessible and applicable to our modern day responsibilities. Lucianne Hackbert is the director of Camp Self-Discovery (CSD), a day camp for children age 3-8 focused on building emotional awareness in children. Luci and Jenny believe that the practice of mindfulness is an incredible tool for embodying joy and courage on the spiritual path of parenting.
